Had a little plot revelation today, which, considering I’m behind quota, is a good, good thing. I didn’t do much outlining for this novel because it’s a rewrite of a novel I wrote in high school. The problem with the high school version of this novel? There was little (very little) in the way of plot, and, to be honest, when NaNo started, I didn’t know how this version of the novel was going to end, and until an hour or so ago, I didn’t know how it was going to end. Now I have a pretty good idea, and that’s an awesome feeling. Should make the next 12,000 words at least a smidge easier. I have a feeling this novel’s going to exceed 50,000 words, though, and that’s a bit scary.
Plot Revelation!

It is such a great feeling when the story takes on its own life – particularly when the plot twist is unexpected. Best wishes in the sprint to the finish line.

I had an ending in mind, and it still didn’t make my last few thousand words easier. Craziness! TGIO!!! And congrats to both of us for finishing!
