Back to Normal

For the last two weeks I didn’t really have a story-in-progress to work on. I was more or less just picking at other stuff, putting the finishing touches on some revised stories. I didn’t feel terribly productive. Last night I finally started a story I can finally dive into and really work on for the next week. It feels great to have something I can really dig into again. I’d had a hard time thinking of any new stories these last two weeks. Nothing was coming to me. I’m pretty excited about this story. I think it’s going to be fairly long, which is good and bad. Good because it’ll keep me occupied. Bad, because it’s hard to find markets for long stories. It’s kind of a sci-fi noir thing. Should be interesting to see how it goes.
